BETHANY – It was an all too familiar scene for the University of Science and Arts as they had to watch No. 20 Southern Nazarene and their fans celebrate an automatic berth into the national tournament with a 1-0 win Thursday night in the Sooner Athletic Conference Tournament championship game.

OKLAHOMA CITY – The celebration was raucous, but head coach Jimmy Hampton had one message for his team.

“We haven’t won anything yet,” he told the team after the University of Science and Arts dispatched with No. 2 Oklahoma City 2-1 in the Sooner Athletic Conference Tournament semifinals Monday night on the road and piled onto one another at midfield.

CHICKASHA – Second-half goals by Antonio Junior and Daniel Gibson helped the University of Science and Arts cruise to a 2-0 win over Oklahoma Christian Tuesday afternoon at Drover Field. The Drovers, who started the season 8-0, snapped a two-game winless streak and are just one game out of first place in the league.

CHICKASHA -- As the USAO Drovers play their first home soccer game on Saturday, head coach Jimmy Hampton’s expectations for both the men’s and women’s soccer teams are very high. 

Both the USAO men’s and women’s soccer teams opened their regular seasons. The women played at Tahlequah on Friday, while the men opened at home.

The Drover Soccer team hit the road for a two game road trip in Siuox City, Iowa.  They came back from the road trip 1-1.  The Drover’s won their first game against Mount Marty 5-3, but lost a close one to Briar Cliff University 3-4. 

The Drover men found themselves in a battle against the Saints of Our Lady of the Lake University on Saturday at the Drover Pitch.

The Drover men kept their home winning streak alive at the Drover Pitch on Tuesday -- beating the Warriors of Bacone College 6-0.

The Drover soccer men win 2-0 in a shutout victory over Texas Wesleyan at Drover Pitch on Friday. The victory edges the Drovers to the top of the Sooner Athletic Conference standings with an overall record of 6-1 -- surpassing Rogers State.

Almost mid-way through the season, both the men's and women's soccer teams at the University of Science and Arts have posted exceptional team records and high marks for individual players. The Drover men are 6-1 overall and the women are 5-1.
